The hindu writings explain that, in the epoch preceding the advent of an Avatar, demons and anti-gods incarnate... I would like to add that another type of harmful, or baneful entity incarnates, too- Ancient Ones, they are called! They are not demons, nor anti-gods, but their influence is deceptive, baneful; harmful. They have a peculiar energy flow (we all have an energy-body, in addition to our rote physical one), associated with their tendency to steal peoples' Power- this might be called Vampirism- which term has acquired some bizarre, fantastical associations, however (there is no such thing as a Vampire, as depicted in countless movies...)! We are, as I interpret, now leaving an Age Of Anti-Christ (or Pre-Avatar) Age; enhancing Light on this topic is naturally appropriate!
Ancient Ones have been in prominent positions- church priests, religious and occult workers/authors; popular writers on religious and other topics; Success coaches, Over-People; others. They usually are rather good looking, and impress as capable and knowledgable. They have something in common with more highly attained people, but it is a baneful category of such. They can have unusual appeal. The sectors of society, their followers or adherents, are blighted sectors- weak Fortune, lack of Love/Sex fulfillment (and excessive inhibition, or inability relatedly)- sometimes they look pitiful, even... such characterizes them. They may even be following a program called "Abundant Living" or something like that- an illusory claim! These are very clever, sly entities, who steal Truth, and Personal Power. Sometimes they are capitalizing on a trend, or fad- such as Witchcraft- Gardner started this religious sect, called Wicca. There is no religion Wicca- Wicca is the practice of trying to evoke supernatural forces, possibly most associated with the religion of Paganism... So here we have a rather large, blighted sector of people, whose rituals lack power, due largely to the fact that they don't keep it secret!
People who hook up with a church, clinging tightly and taking it really seriously, often wind up like empty cardboard-people- another example of this principle!
